This drying system displaces moisture by forcing in warm dry air through 3/16 inch holes that are drilled above the sill plate, but behind the baseboard. Within a matter of hours,
porous building materials start to give up their saturation and within one or two days the wall cavities and wall materials should dry to pre-existing condition. Walls having wet fiberglass insulation will take a day or two longer to dry.

A Wood Hammer Floor Probe is used to obtain moisture readings in wood up to 2.5” below the surface regardless of surface dampness. It useful for readings in floor joists without lifting floor boards, and roofs which means less damage to your home and pocketbook.

Fans are used to help dry the area, and will also help to reduce smells later. Although they are a bit noisy, they are essential to the drying process and must not be turned off until a
member of our team has said it is safe to do so. Shutting them off also voids our "dry in 3 guarantee". 

Measures temperature and humidity. While you will most likely not have one of these kept at your home, you might see a member of our team using it.
